Valley Dedicates Orthopedic Unit in Honor of Holden Family

The Valley Hospital Foundation officially dedicated the Holden Orthopedic Unit in the new hospital in honor of the generosity of orthopedic surgeon Dr. Doug Holden and Dr. Jean Weng Holden, and their children, Alexandra, Austin, and Samantha.

The 16-bed orthopedic unit is committed to the care of patients who have bone issues or who have undergone orthopedic surgery to address a host of conditions or injuries, and as a member of Valley’s medical staff for more than 20 years, Dr. Holden has dedicated his career to the treatment of these patients.

Doug and Jean’s $500,000 gift in support of Valley’s Serve. Care. Transform. campaign speaks to their family’s commitment to their community, as well as to the value and confidence they place on the services that Valley provides.

We are grateful to the Holdens for their generosity, friendship and support of Valley’s future.
