MRI Suite in Paramus to Be Named in Honor of Thomas F. McGuire, M.D.
“Tom was a great physician, a real gentleman, and most importantly, very kind,” Jack Maun, M.D. remembers.
Thomas F. McGuire, M.D. was born in the Bronx in 1938 and served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army.
A graduate of New York Medical College, he completed a residency in internal medicine before going on to specialize in radiology. The late Valley physician was a founding member of Radiology Associates of Ridgewood, a partner to the hospital since 1970.
Before his passing, Dr. McGuire generously arranged for an estate gift to The Valley Hospital Foundation of more than $1 million, ensuring that his personal commitment to the hospital continues. In appreciation of his long esteemed career, the MRI Suite will be named in his honor at The Valley Hospital in Paramus.
